The R-350 is a light tactical high-performance ITAR-free (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Its sleek and efficient design hides a highly sophisticated system that makes the R-350 easy to operate.

 

Multiple payload

 

 

The R-350 offers you a variety of concepts regarding payload options, combining advanced Electro-Optical and Infrared sensors (EO/IR) with other systems such as LiDAR, Multi and Hyperspectral imaging systems for airborne remote sensing and Chemical Sniffers. The two payload bays enable the customer to explore system capabilities for their requirements.

 

MTOW exclusion

 

 

Being under 150kg Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW), the R-350 requires only national certification, adding to the use of use and operation.

Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) gimbals provide advanced wide-area situational awareness and intelligence gathering through collection, identification, categorisation and geo-location of static and moving objects of interest. It provides real-time, high-definition video to commanders and decision makers for uninterrupted surveillance of borders, urban areas, activity and events both by day and night.   Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) is a remote sensing technology that measures distance by illuminating a target with laser and analysing the reflected light. LIDAR for 3D geographic survey systems provides geologists and mapping professionals with the ability to examine both natural and man-made environments with more accuracy, precision and flexibility, and to produce highly accurate maps and digital elevation models for use in geographic information systems.   Hyperspectral imaging may be used to collect and process information from across the electromagnetic spectrum. Hyperspectral sensors are ideal to map large geographic areas quickly and accurately, showing mineral resources development on the surface of the earth. The maps may subsequently be used by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to assess the relative abundance of minerals and their importance in the local geological context.
