UMS SKELDAR’s Head of Business David Willems, will be conducting a series of briefings at Helitech International 2018, the largest helicopter exhibition in Europe dedicated to helicopter products, parts, accessories and services, taking place at Amsterdam RAI, 16-18 October 2018. This landmark industry event includes a focus on autonomous flight and leading-edge sensor solutions.

 

The exhibition, co-located with MRO Europe, brings together over 3,000 buyers worldwide with up to 150 international exhibitors including four major OEMs and a full representation of the rotorcraft supply chain comprising aircraft interiors, avionics and navigation systems to communication equipment, night vision, engines and leasing and regulatory solutions. For the first time this edition will have a new focus on UAV technology, and the synergies within the rotorcraft industry.

Willems will focus on the innovations developed by the flagship NATO-compliant SKELDAR V-200 – the rotary UAV, comprising Hirth Engines’ heavy fuel propulsion system providing unmatched TBO (Time Between Overhauls) and proven sensor systems including the world’s first optical radar ViDAR from Sentient Vision Systems.
