The two payload bays offer great flexibility to accommodate multiple combinations of sensors ensuring mission objectives are achieved. The real-time flight and mission management system is particularly easy to use in all operating conditions and supports safe operations.

Cargo transportation is as old as time. Throughout the centuries we have seen a wide range of freight transportation come and go, ranging from horse-drawn wagons to aeroplanes and helicopters. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are increasing in popularity as organisations realise the benefits they can bring, from the use of heavy fuels – like in our Skeldar V-150 – to reduced logistical footprints and ease of maintenance. New applications for UAVs are consistently coming to the fore, such as the transport of freight to destinations including islands, offshore oilrigs, mountain resorts, remote construction sites and other such smaller locations.

Cargo transportation is becoming crucial in the supply of medical goods. For this industry, fast and reliable transportation of medical supplies can be the difference between life and death, especially in rural areas. Further innovations in this area such as ship-to-shore unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) deliveries are being investigated, whereby medical supplies and water are delivered to those that require them during disaster situations.
