UMS SKELDAR selects S-PLANE's X-SERIES flight control unit

UMS SKELDAR has selected S-PLANE’s NX-SERIES Flight Control Unit (FCU) for all current and future Unmanned Aircraft (UA) platforms thanks to unmatched customer support and the class-leading certifiability, interoperability, and flexibility of their NX-SERIES FCUs.

S-PLANE represents a no-compromise approach and meets UMS SKELDAR’s redundancy, low-weight, and high-quality requirements. S-PLANE has been UMS SKELDAR’s FCU supplier of choice since 2018 for SKELDAR V-200 platform, with many successful installations.

The NX-FCU is unique in terms of its class-leading processing power, and wide range of interface ports and available selection of internal devices to meet the needs of individual clients.

The NX-FCU provides fully redundant flight control, instrumentation/sensors, and communication integrated into one certification-ready and compact package of typically 1.4kg. Payload management and data routing is performed by the NX-FCU as it serves as an interface between aircraft payloads and sub-systems and ground control elements via its communication links.
